About the Role

We're seeking an accomplished Senior Java Software Developer to join our IT team as a key contributor in driving innovation across cybersecurity, software development, and big data technology.

You'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver cutting-edge features and improvements within an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, including unit testing, code deployment, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with different cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features and improvements.
  • Build and optimize APIs to enable seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and continuously improve system performance, team productivity, and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, particularly in backend tech stacks.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with at least one of the following: Java or Go.
  • Minimum 3 years of significant experience in Agile Development, DevOps, and Test Driven Design.
  • At least 2 years of strong experience with unit testing, Test-Driven Development, code review, continuous integration, continuous delivery & DevOps practices.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with cloud platforms, AWS.
Favorable Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful services and different architectures.
  • Familiarity with version control and defect tracking tools like GIT, JIRA.
  • Strong Communication, problem-solving, and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with container environments, Docker.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, AWS.
  • Familiar with database management SQL/NoSQL and experience integrating databases with backend systems.
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to continuously learn and improve.
Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
