Job Description:

The successful candidate will be part of a globally distributed team responsible for developing and operating large backend services. This role involves creating web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients using Python.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new features and enhancements from spec to production at scale.
  • Review code and technical designs produced by other engineers.
  • Collaborate with global teams to find solutions for complex problems.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python.
  • Broad technology base with a preference for backend code and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and ability to design data models that perform well.
  • Comfortable working with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
  • Strong academic performance in Computer Science or a similar degree.
  • Love for technology and working with talented people.
