Job Title: Business Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will work closely with clients to transform their business planning needs using the Adaptive Planning Business Planning Cloud.

  • Provide expertise on the Adaptive Planning solution and maintain proficiency and certification in the solution suite.
  • Contribute to implementation for our clients, working with them to understand their current planning process and take a consultative approach to move legacy models into Adaptive Planning.
  • Develop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning to meet clients' business needs.
  • Assist in guiding clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of each client's unique business requirements at all stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and recommend the best solution based on the client's requirements, budget, and timeframe, with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.
  2. Document the planning models and reporting delivered to clients.
  3. Ensure rapid time to value through delivering engagements on time and budget.

Requirements:

  • Financial and/or management accounting experience, particularly budgeting, planning, and management reporting.
  • Exposure to designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
