Key Responsibilities
Financial Professional will be responsible for:

  • Serving as intermediary between account managers, junior associates, and internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on the work of junior analysts.
  • Identifying questionable data in client compensation and survey input.
  • Verifying the accuracy and validity of submitted data by interfacing extensively with clients to resolve compensation and survey input issues.
  • Assisting in the execution of annual compensation/survey product.
  • Assisting in annual compensation/survey data validation process for client submissions.
  • Working with senior team members in management of projects ensuring adherence to agreed timeline and budget.
  • Being accountable for all methodology and analysis on each staffed project.
  • Providing regular guidance and developmental feedback to junior associates.
  • Assisting in new business/firm development activities (e.g., speeches, white papers, etc.).
  • Assisting in various ad-hoc projects, such as research and analysis on compensation practices for a specific sector/peer group.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
  • 4+ years of human resources, research, data analysis, or other related industry experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a survey and data operations role and to interact with various internal and external constituents.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter who is well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize large volumes of data.
  • Organization skills, detail oriented, ability to take direction, work independently, as well as support a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel (macros a plus) and Word.
  • Processing spreadsheets, database management, and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate large amounts of data into key findings and identify related business issues.
  • Has an 'eye for detail,' while not losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in managing a project and/or a team is a definite plus.
