About the Role

The Technology Strategy Leader is responsible for overseeing the organization's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will manage IT operations, infrastructure, and security while leading a team of professionals to implement innovative solutions.

This role involves strategic planning, budgeting, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will also drive digital transformation initiatives and support the organization's technological growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business goals
  • Manage IT operations, infrastructure, and security
  • Lead a team of professionals to implement innovative solutions
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s, team huddles, and staffing reviews; set hiring goals and maintain a skills matrix
  • Ensure effective delegation, accountability, and follow-through on results
  • Maintain organized project boards, with a maximum of 50 active tasks
  • Review and QA deliverables to ensure accuracy and readiness before implementation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems, and security
  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring IT teams
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and project management
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and enterprise software solutions
  • Expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, and IT governance
  • Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or similar
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Certifications (preferred but not required): PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications
  • Ability to manage resources effectively
