Job Title: Senior Developer

This role is responsible for technical development and support of eTrace modules. The eTrace system is the Warehouse and Shopfloor execution system for EP factories, which will be rolled out to other sites and future acquisitions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business Analysts to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members in the development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
  • Provide sustaining support to eTrace with enhancement releases and data maintenance adhering to IT Change Management Processes.

Additional Responsibility:

  • Perform technical assessments of rolling out eTrace to other AP facilities.
  • Prepare an execution plan and seamless go-live as per the plan with minimal impact to operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Proficient in HTML and related web technologies.
  • Proficient in .NET development (ASP, VB, C#) at least 1 year of experience.
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server at least 1 year of experience.
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap and UI designing.
  • Background in Bitbucket and Jira is a plus.

Developmental Skills:

  • Analyzing information such as requirements, enhancements, and problems.
  • Understanding of software development cycles.
  • Ability to develop applications/modules/functions with minimal supervision.

Functional Skills:

  • Teamwork - Collaborate and work with team members.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and stay updated.
  • Ability to test web applications.
  • Follow project and team guidelines.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of ten years of experience in Business Systems development/support.
  • Desirable: Experience of development and support of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems major in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Desirable: Education/knowledge of WMS, MES, and ERP systems.
