Database Expert Job

This is a challenging opportunity to join our data team in analyzing, developing SSIS projects and working closely with the team on any SQL issues.

Job Description:
  • Develop SSIS projects for ETL, transmission, encryption and archiving of files received and generated.
  • Tune databases for optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Design, develop and maintain database tables, stored procedures and supporting objects.
  • Build operational reports for company and clients.
  • Support the data team in resolving recurring problems.
  • Document database topology, architecture, processes and procedures.
  • Create and support ad hoc SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Assist in capacity planning and resource expansion through data aggregation and analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Computer Science or Information Technology degree
  • Minimum five years of experience as a Database Engineer
  • Three years of SSIS experience
  • Two years of C# and/or VB.NET experience
  • Thorough understanding of database structures and theories
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design stored procedures, functions and views
  • Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or later
