Role Description

We are looking for an SMSF accountant with at least 3 years of experience in Australian superannuation rules & regulations. It's not a requirement to be CA or CPA qualified. What counts most is your experience & knowledge of Australian superannuation rules & regulations.

This is a full-time remote role for an SMSF Accountant. The SMSF Accountant will be responsible for reviewing SMSF financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • SMSF administration experience with Class Software is essential
  • Ability to analyse the information currently held on file and request the relevant information that is required to finalise the accounts, and also manage audit queries
  • Experience in preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns
  • Knowledge of SMSF compliance requirements and regulations, and Australian superannuation rules & regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Must have at least 3 – 5 years of experience in SMSF Accounting & Administration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
