Artwork Specialist

The role of an Artwork Specialist involves producing high-quality artwork in compliance with client briefs, supplied copy documents, and legal/technical requirements.

This position requires a skilled individual with attention to detail, efficient working style, analytical thinking, and a strong sense of personal quality and ownership of the work. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and high-quality artwork for basic to complex Production assignments.

  • Produce artwork in accordance with client specifications.
  • Develops accurate and high-quality artwork for basic to complex Production assignments to incorporate in final layout.
  • Coordinates with the client project team to incorporate branding guidelines into artwork layout per client's technical specifications.
  • Apply pre-press printing knowledge in daily routine such as colour separation, trapping, stepping, high-resolution image replacement, barcode replacement.

Key qualifications for this role include a secondary school diploma or degree in Art & Design, Graphic Art, Printing Technology, Advertising, Interior Design, Multimedia, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in industry-standard software tools is also essential. Additionally, the ability to interpret concept and/or brand guidelines through to artwork execution is crucial.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high-quality basic to complex level Artwork.
  • Apply sound judgment in resolving artwork-related issues that may arise during the production process.
Requirements
  • Secondary School/Diploma/Degree in Art & Design, Graphic Art, Printing Technology, Advertising, Interior Design, Multimedia or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job.
  • Languages required: English written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
