Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Professional. This is an in-country position located in Davao City.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that their assigned work areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to hospital standard cleaning procedures and protocols. This includes performing basic preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor, following established protocols for cleaning assigned work areas per schedule, and disposing of waste appropriately.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
  2. Performing basic preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
  3. Following established protocol for cleaning assigned work areas per schedule.
  4. Disposing of waste appropriately and as needed.
  5. Handling and disposing of medical waste responsibly following Hospital policies.
  6. Assisting Nursing Staff as necessary for the efficient operation of the patient wards and operating rooms.
  7. Removing soiled linens from various locations and preparing them for laundry service.
  8. Changing bed linens as necessary.
  9. Recording and keeping safe all items found in garments received for cleaning.
  10. Sorting out linens needing repair or mending.
  11. Cleaning and disinfecting certain equipment like hospital beds, bedside tables, IV stands to ensure sterility for patient care.
  12. Packaging and delivering supplies like paper towels, bags, and containers to respective areas.
  13. Assisting patients if necessary.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of the need for a clean environment for patients. You must also be able to establish priorities and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision, comprehend the sterilization of materials, and learn new techniques and procedures related to cleaning and disinfection. Additionally, you should have the ability to follow written and verbal directions, work well independently, and demonstrate exceptional work ethic and strong attention to work quality, safety, and cleanliness.
