Job Title: Procurement Professional

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, analyzing procurement data, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.

The role supports procurement operations by ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Job Scope:

  1. Responsible for the safekeeping of all in-stock inventory materials.

  2. Handles local & Imported purchasing. Performs canvassing and purchasing activities for requisitioned items Specifically Production raw materials, Services & Machine Parts requirement.

  3. Prepares PR/PO monitoring Report in Weekly or Monthly basis.

  4. Monitors/ follows up unserved PR's and coordinates status with department heads and requisitionists.

  5. Monitors inventory balances and evaluates min/max levels or re-order points.

  6. Monitors critical spares, excess and obsolete spare parts and supplies and coordinates with concerned department for proper stock disposition.

  7. Maintains housekeeping and orderly arrangement of stores items

  8. Assist the procurement team in the improvement of Purchasing & stores procedures and processes for better data generation and control.

  9. Make preparation for the year-end inventory taking such as stock arrangement, cleaning, identification, tag generation and inventory tagging.

  10. Performs other related functions as may be assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis preferred.

  • Knowledge in Purchasing Activities , Equipment –machinery parts and know how on computer system operation (Oracle).
