Job Summary

The Workday Benefits Consultant will provide strategic support to clients' technology by delivering innovative ideas and effective solutions. This role is responsible for providing expertise in the HCM product suite, with deep expertise and experience in U.S. Benefits.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in the HCM product suite, with deep expertise and experience in U.S. Benefits.
  • Lead deployment teams or coach others to gather and document client business requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer.
  • Work with data conversion teams to convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist integration consulting teams in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor consultants and serve as a professional role model, coaching others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to achieve team-based projects.
  • Address complex tasks when team members need support.
  • Foster clients' adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Maintain ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Workday Benefits Certification.
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing HCM/Benefits Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company.
  • Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in HCM/Benefits areas.
  • Ability to manage against timelines and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly.
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM/Benefits projects simultaneously.
