Technical Writer Position

The Customer Experience Technical Writer is responsible for creating and maintaining various types of documentation to meet the needs of diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical writing skills, adaptability, and a global perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive documentation tailored to meet the requirements of both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product and documentation requirements.
  • Design and implement Salesforce Experience Cloud Sites using Salesforce Site Builder and write basic HTML and CSS code to enhance user experience and functionality.
  • Manage and maintain a Salesforce Knowledge instance across the organization, ensuring high service levels and quality of the knowledge base.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.
  • Review, proofread, and edit content produced by team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven technical writing experience in creating service, product, and client-facing documentation.
  • Ability to adapt content for diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to take ownership of projects.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, including design and maintenance of sites using Salesforce Site Builder.
  • Basic HTML and CSS coding skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Reader proficiency.
  • Attention to detail, strong proofreading and editing skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Lifelong learning commitment and continuous professional development.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma and degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a service-oriented or technology-driven environment.
  • Global or international service setting experience and proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and experience designing and maintaining Salesforce Experience Cloud Sites, as well as managing a Salesforce Knowledge instance.
