Job Title: Plumbing Technical Reviewer

A unique opportunity awaits an experienced plumber to transition into a technical review role, overseeing the quality of residential work orders and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

About the Role

This full-time position is designed for a licensed or journeyman-level plumber who wants to leverage their expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing diagnoses, validating scopes, and ensuring quality control before work progresses. You'll act as the technical gatekeeper, flagging issues, clarifying scope, and maintaining efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and review numerous plumbing work orders daily across residential sites.
  • Evaluate contractor reports, photos, and videos for accuracy.
  • Identify incomplete or inaccurate bids and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and escalate quality concerns appropriately.
  • Ensure all documentation and data entries are accurate and complete.
  • Serve as the final QA checkpoint before work approval, scheduling, or billing.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on residential plumbing experience.
  • Master Plumber certification or equivalent.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to assess work via photos, videos, and notes.
  • Familiarity with common residential plumbing issues.
  • Ability to identify subpar work and guide contractors toward correct scope.
  • Clear, confident communication skills for technical discussions.
  • Willingness to switch from fieldwork to a fully remote role.
  • Quick adaptability to new software platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills managing multiple work orders.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
