Job Purpose:
  • Manage cold storage facilities to ensure timely and quality delivery of technical and operations services, aligned with set Key Result Areas (KRA's) from management and clients.
  • Align 5M's (Manpower, Material, Machine, Methods and Measures) towards achieving maximum profitability and excellent customer experience.
Operations Management:
  • Enhance and develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, developing policies and procedures, and evaluating equipment utilization and inventory management.
  • Oversee the leasing process, including preparation of presentations, documentation, warehouse turnover, and other related activities to achieve full occupancy and maximized profitability.
  • Perform account management activities to ensure client retention, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns in collaboration with the Operations Supervisor.
  • Research prospective accounts, locators, and lessees in targeted markets, pursuing leads and following through to successful agreements.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Set direction for operations and facilities-related matters, ensuring consistency in warehouse management.
  • Understand target markets, industries, companies, projects, and contacts to create expansion strategies that attract clients.
  • Plan and manage the cold storage warehouse with suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers.
  • Deliver logistics solutions while maintaining high quality and service standards within budgetary requirements.
  • Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Assist in collecting outstanding accounts or receivables from clients and attend regular coordination meetings.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in major department projects and contribute to cross-functional teams driving quality improvement, processes, and initiatives.
  • Actively participate and communicate in team-based work groups.
  • Perform other tasks necessary for the overall function.
