Audit Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Associate to join our team. As an Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in performing client financial statement audits under the supervision of senior personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting audit tests and procedures to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Analyze and document findings to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation and industry-specific rules.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assigned project work and identify technical issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of public accounting experience in audit.
  • ERISA and Employee Benefit Plans experience required.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and industry-specific rules.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent research, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
