Job Summary

We are seeking talented customer service professionals to join our team on a remote, contingent basis in response to disaster relief efforts.

This is a temporary position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or chat
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize knowledge of account management systems and customer service techniques to improve customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives

As a customer service representative, you will play a critical role in delivering a positive experience for our customers during a difficult time. You must be able to think critically, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multitask, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team and customers
