Job Overview

The Financial Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in the finance department, focusing on day-to-day financial activities. This position involves managing financial communications and documentation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read, understand and respond to each email communication
  • Escalate any unclear or ambiguous instructions
  • Communicate with stakeholders and managers to clarify tasks and responsibilities
  • Respond to emails clearly and effectively
  • Process documentation in line with client-specific policies
  • Develop and maintain automated processes
  • Understand how ledgers are managed and maintained for each client
  • Identify discrepancies or omissions and request clarification
  • Assign transactions to general ledger accounts
  • Assign GL codes consistently and accurately
  • Understand the purpose and meaning of each transaction
