SharePoint Specialist Role

This is a project-based position that requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining a SharePoint Hub.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills in UI/UX customization within SharePoint and experience with taxonomy, metadata, and navigation best practices.

Responsibilities include building the SharePoint Hub, including menu/navigation design, connected sites, permissions, and document libraries.

Additionally, the successful candidate will configure features like version control, multi-language support, and restricted access (internal only).

A strong understanding of client branding guidelines is required to create a clean, user-friendly interface.

Key tasks include:

  • Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into a clear hub structure

Requirements
  • Proven experience in SharePoint Online / SharePoint Hub implementation
  • Knowledge of taxonomy, metadata, and navigation best practices
  • Hands-on skills in UI/UX customization within SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills for occasional client calls
  • Ability to act as an all-rounder: architecture, build, and admin
Engagement
  • Project duration: Setup and implementation by deadline
  • Maintenance: 1x per month check-in and light updates thereafter
  • Reporting: Work with Project Manager; may join client calls occasionally

Graphic design support will be provided separately. This role is focused on SharePoint configuration and implementation only.
