Logistics Supply Coordinator Role

A dynamic role in our logistics operations team is available, where you will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily truck requirements and track volume forecasts, cut-off times, and dispatch schedules to optimize logistics planning.
  • Directly interact with accredited trucking partners to secure on-time truck availability and deployment for efficient logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck arrivals, no-shows, backfills, and exceptions, escalating issues to the Site Logistics Lead as necessary.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, linehaul, and operations teams to synchronize truck dispatch with loading timelines and route planning for optimal supply chain management.
  • Validate truck documentation (e.g., OR/CR, driver ID, plate number, body number) to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Manage the site's truck roster and support updates on truck inventory and partner assignments for effective logistics coordination.
  • Escalate chronic or urgent logistics issues to the Logistics Lead for strategic resolution and improvement.
  • Contribute to daily logistics performance monitoring and monthly evaluations of trucking partner performance for continuous improvement.
  • Support special projects such as truck pooling, reallocation, and seasonal demand planning to enhance logistics efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics coordination, trucking operations, or supply chain management; fresh graduates with strong internship experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, particularly in interacting with external vendors or partners.
  • Proficiency in basic Google Sheets (e.g., tracking tools, basic formulas) for data analysis and optimization.
  • Willingness to be deployed onsite and work in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment.
  • Amenability to shifting schedules and weekend work as required.
