Threat Intelligence Lead Job Summary

  • Job Description

    The Threat Intelligence Lead will be responsible for driving Canonical's threat intelligence strategy, including understanding cyber threat actors targeting the company and using intelligence to improve products and internal cybersecurity controls.

    This role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders and the wider cybersecurity community to establish Canonical as a thought leader in open source threat intelligence.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience as a threat intelligence leader or similar
    • Knowledge of current open source threat landscape and computer networking/infrastructure concepts
    • Competence with OSINT tools such as Buscador, Maltego, Shodan, social media scraping tools, etc.
    • Able to identify, organize, catalogue, and track adversary tradecraft trends
    • Experience using threat intelligence data to influence enterprise architecture or product development decisions
    • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical content to various audiences
