Job Description

Succeed as a seasoned security analyst in our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze complex security incidents, collaborate with the response team, and provide timely feedback for improvement.
  • Research, recommend, implement, respond to, and troubleshoot advanced security solutions.
  • Refine and optimize security systems (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, WAF, IDS/IPS).
  • Apply ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documents, security procedures, and processes, including incident response playbooks.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and applicable security requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in a relevant field, such as Information Security or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in a Security Operations Centre, conducting thorough security investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of security incident management, malware detection, and vulnerability assessment processes.
  • Familiarity with multiple operating systems and system administration skills (Windows, Linux).
  • Basic understanding of public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and private (VMware) cloud; networking principles, including TCP/IP, WANs, LANs, and Internet protocols (SMTP, HTTP, FTP, POP, LDAP).
  • Previous experience with advanced security technologies (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, WAF, NextGen Firewalls).
  • Able to assess situations, determine the appropriate course of action, and make informed decisions based on urgency.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an evolving security and IT landscape.
  • Collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of contributing to Knowledge Management.
