Financial Management Professional

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Management Professional to lead our group-wide financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, focusing on group consolidation and inter-company transactions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage entity-level and group-wide financial operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic alignment in the media and entertainment sectors.
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inter-company coordination, and financial controls to support group growth.
  • Ensure timely collection of revenue streams and manage vendor payments aligned with entity operations.
  • Perform payment and payout reconciliations for entity transactions, ensuring accuracy of entity-level financial records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification required.
  • Minimum of 7 years in financial management, with at least 3 years of experience working within a multi-entity group structure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or event-based industries.
  • Proven expertise in inter-company transactions, group consolidation, and Australian tax compliance.
Key Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with expense management tools.
  • Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets, particularly for group-level modelling and forecasting.
Core Competencies:
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and cross-entity collaboration.
  • Ability to manage complex priorities across multiple entities.
Industry Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of AASB standards, OECD transfer pricing guidelines, and ATO regulations.
  • Familiarity with project-based accounting and intellectual property (IP) valuation in the media and entertainment sectors.
About the Role:
