What the Role Entails

As a Group FP&A Officer , you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide financial insight and advice to the business when making decisions with a financial impact and conducting reporting and analysis
  • Actively participate in planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital management, and strategy inputs, as well as detailed analysis of results to provide insight to the business
  • Integrate data from various sources to prepare profitability reports of the assigned group
What You Will Contribute
  • Actively participate in financial planning and analysis activities including the development of consolidated financial plans, capital assessment, budget and forecasts, and other strategy inputs as required
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of Oracle systems changes, updates and data governance initiatives
  • Produce analysis of organisational and operating unit/segment performance against financial plans including key variances, trends, risks, and opportunities; understand the impact on resource and funding allocations and performance
  • Integrate data from various sources to prepare the profitability reports of the assigned group
  • Build a collaborative culture across the team that encourages innovation for persistent improvement
  • Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in budgeting, planning, and forecasting, preferably in the banking industry
  • Strategic insight and strong analytical skills
  • Knowledgeable of accounting standards
  • Good communication, collaborative, self-starter, flexible, reliable
  • Proficient in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint and Oracle systems (advantage)
