Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Structures Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of building structures from concept through to construction.

About the Role

The Senior Building Structures Specialist will lead a team of engineers in developing structural designs for new build and refurbishment projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Liaising with cross-functional teams to produce coordinated designs;
  2. Overseeing the quality and accuracy of own and others' work;
  3. Maintaining project schedules and allocating tasks as necessary;
  4. Representing the company internally and externally;
  5. AUTHORS documents such as letters and reports (for internal or external use);
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Minimum 7 years technical experience specialising in design and analysis of building structures;
  • Experience working in an engineering team, preferably within the technology/data centre industry;
  • Proficiency in using software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla and Robot Structural Analysis;
  • Good understanding of Eurocodes;
  • Ability to manage workload and collaborate effectively with colleagues;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or have equivalent experience.
