Job Overview

The Virtual Sales Support Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, generate and deliver precise quotations, and support sales administrative tasks. If you have experience in inside sales support or a similar role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inside Sales Support:
    • Generate and deliver precise quotations and submittals in response to customer requests.
    • Address customer needs and inquiries via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
    • Follow up on quotes and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Provide sales administrative support, including order processing, documentation, and data entry.
  • Sales Outreach:
    • Conduct targeted cold calls and email campaigns to prospective customers.
    • Identify new business opportunities within diverse customer segments, including end-users, engineers, municipalities, and contractors.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Technical Drawing & Design:
    • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D to create detailed technical drawings and designs.
    • Develop and revise customer-specific drawings to support product specifications and project requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with the outside sales team to provide technical insights and support during client meetings and presentations.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project progress.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Provide timely follow-up on customer feedback and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in inside sales support or a similar role.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships, generate quotes, and conduct follow-up activities.
    • Experience in the pump and controls or related industrial sector.
    • Background in engineering or technical sales.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a remote work setting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D for creating and modifying technical drawings.
    • Strong computer skills with experience in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and email campaign tools.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
