About the Role

This role involves collaborating with our technical support group to onboard new SmartDeploy customers seamlessly. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure that customers effectively integrate and set up our product, achieving key value drivers within 30-60 days.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring they have accomplished key value drivers with the product in their first 30-60 days.
  • Technical Support Escalation: Identify and escalate level 2 or higher technical issues to Sales Engineers. Collaborate with Sales Engineers to address complex issues, escalating to the Solutions Team when necessary.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in SmartDeploy and other PDQ products and their value propositions. Understand key differentiators vs. competitive products.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Conduct customer calls via Zoom for onboarding purposes. Effectively communicate with customers and collaborate within a multi-location or offshore team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a System Administrator or IT Administrator, including responsibilities related to installation and configuration of hardware and software (managing operating systems, applications and drivers), on-prem/cloud-based software and infrastructure management, monitoring and maintenance of systems through regular software updates and patches, and network management, including creating/configuring virtualized machines.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows environments and tools (Active Directory, DNS, GPO).
  • Strong English language skills (both written and verbal) are crucial to success in the role, as you will communicate with customers over the phone and email in a product onboarding/support capacity.
  • Familiarity with imaging tools for Windows environments (e.g., SCCM/MECM, ManageEngine, KACE, or similar) is highly desirable.
