We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. This is a remote, full-time role that plays a key part in gathering market intelligence through a combination of online research and direct phone outreach.

Job Description:

This position requires the ability to collect, analyze and interpret data from various sources including online platforms and direct phone calls. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for calling local apartment communities to verify and update property information, conducting online research to gather rental and occupancy data, tracking development pipelines, identifying property sales, listings and ownership changes, and inputting and managing data using Microsoft Excel and Word.

The Research Assistant will also be responsible for communicating findings clearly and accurately via email and internal tools, as well as working independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Comfortable using a VOIP system via Microsoft Teams for phone calls
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • A reliable computer setup, preferably with dual monitors and a stable internet connection
  • Someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work
