Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Description

The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. They will provide advanced technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their problems.

This role involves managing help desk tickets, collaborating with vendors, implementing SaaS solutions, addressing infrastructure alerts, and contributing to continuous process improvement within the IT department.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of IT experience with a focus on desktop support, systems engineering, and systems administration.
  • Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools, including Datto, Kaseya, NinjaOne, Halo, ConnectWise, and Autotask.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and desktop and mobile device troubleshooting, deployment, and management.
  • Support of cloud products, including Office 365, SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure, and Google.
  • Systems administration skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms (DC, FS, TS, Print, IIS) and Active Directory, Group Policy.
  • Basic understanding of Exchange Server, SQL Server, and cybersecurity products, including Barracuda, Webroot, Ironscales, Axcient, and Spanning.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/DMZ/WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, VPN, and firewalls.
