The main responsibility of a chemical analyst is to conduct detailed chemical tests and analysis on various materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • They measure and monitor the chemical properties of raw materials, in-process materials, clinker, cement, coal, liquid fuels, AFR materials, and other special samples.
  • Chemical analysts implement calibration plans to ensure that equipment accuracy and reliability are maintained in the laboratory.
  • They guarantee the availability of stocks/chemicals, apparatus, and materials required for the chemical laboratory to carry out quality plans continuously.
  • Regular safety audits and radiation level monitoring are conducted in the XRF room by chemical analysts.
  • They manage the company's proficiency testing program to verify the accuracy and precision of test results.
  • Chemical analysts maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring that tasks are risk-assessed, people are properly trained and equipped, workplace inspections are conducted regularly, incidents are investigated and addressed promptly, contractors are managed safely, and safety communication flows throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry is essential for this role.
  • Experience as a licensed chemist with knowledge in cement testing and analysis is highly preferred.
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply if they have relevant skills and qualifications.
  • Holding a driver's license is beneficial for convenient movement around the site.
