Financial Operations Support

A dynamic and collaborative work environment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to deliver exceptional financial support and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and accounting assistance to the Head of Finance, ensuring timely and accurate financial records and reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Finance & Accounting Assistance
    • Day-to-day accounting and administrative support to the Head of Finance
    • Monthly management reports including analysis and commentary
    • Supporting offshore team with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations
    • Maintaining and monitoring the fixed asset register
    • Assisting with journal entries for financial record accuracy
    • Preparing and journaling weekly payroll
  • Month-End & Year-End Support
    • Assisting offshore team in month-end and year-end close processes
    • Preparing supporting reconciliations and documentation
    • Assisting in producing management accounts for leadership review
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Preparing clear, concise, and meaningful financial reports to support informed decision-making
  • Administrative Support
    • Managing the finance inbox and responding to queries in a timely manner
    • Handling supplier setup and process local invoice payments
    • Processing sales reimbursements and company expense claims
    • Maintaining vehicle compliance requirements
    • Updating daily cashbooks for accurate cash flow records
  • Ad Hoc Support
    • Providing additional assistance on finance projects and other administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of solid accounting experience including multi-entity accounting
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across multiple entities
  • Comfortable operating in a global environment with different currencies and time zones
  • Exceptional English communication skills written and verbal
  • Team management and leadership experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is ideal
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and awareness of current AI/automation trends in finance
  • Strong attention to detail problem-solving mindset and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
