Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying defects in web-based applications.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans, functional test plans, performance test plans, and vulnerability assessment and penetration tests
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Conduct manual and automated testing across various browsers and devices
  • Identify, document, and track defects in software development life cycles
  • Test plugin compatibility, theme responsiveness, and custom PHP functions in WordPress environments
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure seamless user experiences
  • Execute various types of testing including regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to deliver high-quality products
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum team ceremonies to drive project success
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong emphasis on software quality assurance
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software QA/testing with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
  • Experience with QA methodologies and test automation tools to streamline testing processes
  • Proficiency in bug tracking/project management tools, test management tools, automation tools, API testing tools, CI/CD tools, version control, and browser/device testing
  • Understanding of databases and ability to write basic scripts/queries to enhance data analysis
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills

Requirements
Minimum 4 years experience as a QA Engineer. Immediate availability is required.
