Lead Tester

The Lead Tester is responsible for overseeing the overall testing process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

This includes:

  • Defining test strategy and plans to align with project goals and objectives
  • Leading test teams to deliver quality results on time
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Maintaining quality standards through rigorous testing processes
  • Overseeing risk management and reporting to mitigate potential issues
  • Ensuring effective budget and schedule management to meet project requirements
  • Fostering continuous improvement in testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements

To be successful as a Lead Tester, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • At least 8 years of experience in software testing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead/test manager role
  • ISTQB Advanced Level certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with test management tools
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
