Technical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Support Specialist to provide technical and documentation assistance for ongoing engineering projects. You will work closely with the engineer to prepare drawings, diagrams, and organized documentation that ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Create and edit 2D drawings using AutoCAD software
- Prepare diagrams and layouts in Microsoft Visio or similar tools
- Assist with developing cutsheets, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Organize and maintain engineering documentation and project files
- Conduct light technical research, such as identifying alternative components or suppliers
- Support the engineering team with other documentation or technical tasks as assigned
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (basic 2D drawing skills required)
- Experience with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming software
- Familiarity with wiring harness components is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in electrical or mechanical engineering support is preferred but not necessary
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced engineering environment
