Job Title:

Turnkey Project Validation Expert

This is a challenging role for a seasoned professional to oversee the validation and acceptance of turnkey projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in railway project management, with a strong background in testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities will include leading and coordinating integration, validation, testing, and acceptance activities, as well as defining objectives and processes for subsystems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for piloting test campaigns on-site, identifying and escalating risks or issues, and managing gate reviews.

  • Lead and Coordinate all activities related to Integration, Validation, Testing and Acceptance of all the subsystems off & on shore
  • Define VTA objectives and processes to all subsystems
  • Pilot test campaigns on-site, both at subsystem and system level, including the provision of temporary operation processes, resources and means
  • Identify and escalate subsystems / system VTA risks or issues (compliance to applicable standard, conformity to technical specification, compatibility with other subsystems…)
  • Act as main contact person for all stakeholders in regard of VTA activities
  • Report on subsystems / system VTA execution
  • Manage VTA Gate Reviews (GR) from Preliminary Gate Review (PGR) till the Final Quality Approval Review (FQA)
  • Accountable for the Integration, Validation and Acceptance of subsystems by the manufacturers
  • Accountable for the Acceptance of subsystems / system by the customer / operator
  • Estimate and measure the costs of the platform Integration & Validation tests

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Management

Mandatory:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience on railway projects
  • Minimum 5 years in testing and commissioning in identical field
  • International project experience
  • Knowledgeable of railway system
  • Electrical power distribution system
  • Signaling, Communication & SCADA system
  • Rolling Stock system
  • English professional level
  • Rigorous, good organization
