Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is a Tier 2 position responsible for managing multi-vendor server infrastructure platforms. The successful candidate will ensure a world-class infrastructure by performing routine planned OS upgrades, refreshes, bulk installations, configuration management, migrations, and decommissioning.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and proven expertise with hypervisors such as Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Perl, and Python, as well as practical experience with infrastructure automation using tools like Puppet and Ansible.

Additional responsibilities include executing virtual machine migrations across multiple environments, administering and maintaining Linux-based systems supporting production workloads, and developing and maintaining automation scripts to support migration, monitoring, and routine operations.

We are looking for someone who can continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, document and maintain accurate system, process, and migration records, and provide excellent troubleshooting skills in virtualized and Linux environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Virtual Machine (VM) migrations across multiple environments.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting production workloads.
  • Manage and operate hypervisor platforms (Proxmox VE, VMware) for provisioning, migration, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Perl; Python optional) to support migration, monitoring, and routine operations.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Puppet and Ansible for system configuration, deployment, and scaling.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Document and maintain accurate system, process, and migration records.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, or similar).
  • Proven expertise with hypervisors: Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl; Python a plus).
  • Practical experience with infrastructure automation (Puppet, Ansible).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in virtualized and Linux environments.
