IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Specialist. This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity with multiple shift options available.

About the Role

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for customers, with a focus on SDWAN (preferably Cato), Internet, and related services. They will troubleshoot and configure basic LAN setups (Routers, Firewalls) and Microsoft operating systems. Additionally, they will support the provisioning and onboarding of new customers for managed services, collaborate with vendors to resolve support issues, and own support issues from start to resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction with clear communication and expert problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in SDWAN (Versa Networks preferred)
  • Troubleshoot and configure routers, firewalls, NAT, COS/QOS, and network design principles
  • Support the provisioning and onboarding of new customers
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve support issues
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships by delivering outstanding support
  • Mentor and train fellow engineers on complex technical issues and solutions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced technical environment
  • CCNA/CCNP certifications are highly desirable
  • Strong firewall configuration experience (Fortinet preferred)
  • Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, VRRP
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance and processes
