Senior Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our team's day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing complex financial processes.

This role requires strong Australian accounting knowledge, with experience in BAS preparation, personal tax return, and Xero certification. Payroll taxation and month-end reports preparation are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the organization's day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Review and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to maintain accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, providing financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints.
What We're Looking For:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of related work experience is essential.
  • Experience in Australian bookkeeping is required.
  • Xero Certification is an absolute MUST.
  • Payroll Taxation and Month-end Reports Preparer is a plus.
