Vision Care Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains performance metrics across all shifts: product quality, labor and machine productivity, materials consumption, expenses, flow, safety.
  • Adapts to changes in formulation and monomer preparation sequences.
  • Monitors critical specifications and reports deviations, creating action plans as needed.
  • Validates new chemical batches, materials, and processes before production.
  • Conducts audits using Critical-To-Quality (CTQs), Kamishibai and control checklists.
  • Engages with key personnel when production quality standards are not met.
  • Fosters trust, respect and a positive attitude among operators.
  • Ensures on-time availability of quality monomers and other process requirements.
  • Provides failure analysis reports and data insights on quality issues.
  • Leads first-level investigations using Lean Initiatives for Excellence (LIFE) Tools.
  • Monitors raw materials and waste generation.
  • Manages the performance of Coordinator/Operators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing.
  • Basic analytical skills (performance metric measurement and analysis).
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications and statistical analysis software.
  • Good command of spoken and written English; experience in creating technical reports.
  • Must be able to work on a shifting schedule and render overtime when needed.
  • Knowledge in QC tools and problem-solving techniques is an advantage.
  • Has a background in technical, process, and equipment troubleshooting.
