Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to provide financial support to our organization.

  • Manage and record financial transactions, process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records, prepare financial reports and summaries
  • Assist with tax preparation and compliance (if needed), maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks or similar software
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, compile financial reports and present them to senior management
  • Assist with knowledge base data management, compile sales tax returns and submit
Key Responsibilities
  • Financial transaction management and recording
  • Accounting software expertise, including QuickBooks
  • Bank statement reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Tax preparation and compliance
  • Accounts payable and receivable management
  • Financial report presentation
  • Knowledge base data management
  • Sales tax return compilation and submission
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 1+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, with a focus on bookkeeping/accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of remote work experience
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or ClickUp
  • Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude AI, Gemini, Notion AI, or Canva AI (preferred but not required)
  • Strong general business support skills, including administrative assistance, calendar and schedule management, email and inbox handling, documentation and reporting
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Slack
