Our organization seeks a seasoned Financial Expert to execute diverse financial duties, encompassing tax preparation, document management, accounting, research, reconciliation, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate personal and business tax returns utilizing industry-standard templates and filing protocols.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information or documents for return completion.
  • Conduct in-depth research on pertinent laws prior to submitting returns for review.
  • Provide comprehensive and error-free returns to avoid discrepancies.
  • Develop detailed tax projections and planning strategies for clients, determining tax liability, salary requirements, payroll liabilities, and estimated payments.
  • Manage correspondence with tax authorities, prepare payment plans, powers of attorney, S elections, SS-4 forms, and state registrations.
  • Perform external bookkeeping services, adjusting balance sheets after-tax returns are completed, handling year-end adjustments, and providing QuickBooks support for clients.
  • Review monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, updating records to show timely completion of work, preparing W-2s, W-3s, 1099s, and 1096 forms at year-end.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting-related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software/tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, CCH Access/ProFX Tax, Intelliconnect Tax Research, Intelliforms, Tax Tools, CFS Payroll, Practice Management Time Entry, Accounting Research, PFX Tax Planning, Proseries Tax Planner, and CCH Engagement External Bookkeeper.
  • Licensed as a certified public accountant is advantageous.
  • Excellent grasp of all Microsoft applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in data analysis, management, and reporting preparation.
  • Ability to function independently in an autonomous environment.
