Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and record supplier invoices in the financial system.
- Verify purchase orders and delivery dockets against supplier invoices.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and supplier statements.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment schedules.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve payment queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end closing tasks and reporting.
- Work closely with purchasing and operations teams to resolve invoice or delivery issues.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
- Provide support for bank reconciliations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Financial Operations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP tools.
- Experience within the supply chain, wholesale, or industrial products sector is advantageous.
- High level of accuracy and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
