At our organization, we're dedicated to promoting food sustainability and animal welfare through strategic partnerships with leading companies.

We collaborate with multinational corporations to incorporate sustainable foods into their supply chains, improving food safety, quality, and animal welfare.

Job Summary

The Sustainability Program Manager will play a pivotal role in building relationships and collaborating with domestic and international food companies to integrate plant-based ingredients into their supply chains.

Globally, there's a growing trend of companies adopting or considering plant-based food policies, driven by increasing consumer demand for sustainable and ethical food options, as well as companies' efforts to meet their environmental goals.

In this position, you'll help educate more companies on the sustainability, animal welfare, and economic benefits of making this supply chain shift.

You'll provide industry updates, connect companies with potential suppliers, and offer resources to aid them in understanding and progressing on the issue.

To identify and engage new food companies, you'll conduct online research, write and send emails, make calls, and conduct visits and meetings with companies.

As a remote worker, you'll have flexible hours and collaborate with colleagues across Asia, Europe, and the US via regular calls, emails, and messages.

This role offers hands-on experience working with large food companies on corporate sustainability, with opportunities for advancement to managerial or other positions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to work highly independently with a strong work ethic
  • Resiliency – when faced with challenges, it motivates you to try harder
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Tagalog
  • Personal interest in sustainability or animal welfare
