Key Business Analyst Role

The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in translating complex financial and investment needs into clear actionable requirements.

  • Financial Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to develop clear requirements that meet the organization's objectives.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for financial operations including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with technical teams to identify and address inefficiencies, risks, and gaps in existing financial processes, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • System Solution Alignment: Ensure system solutions accurately reflect business requirements for investment accounting, portfolio management, and trading operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Create detailed reports and presentations to monitor and report on the performance of investment and financial processes.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. A master's degree or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on investment operations within the financial services industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the investment trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
