Our team seeks a highly skilled accounting professional to fill a key role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS.
  • Support accountants with day-to-day client needs, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Perform administrative tasks for timely lodgments, maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines, delivering results that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Daily timesheet entry, accurately capturing hours worked and project details.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, enabling effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems, such as Xero and its add-ons.
  • Exposure to SMSF compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Required Skills
  • Ability to prepare financial statements accurately and in line with Australian compliance requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero and cloud-based accounting systems, enabling efficient data management and analysis.
  • Excellent written and spoken English to liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Time management & deadline focus, ensuring timely lodgments and meeting client expectations.
  • Adaptability & willingness to learn, staying up-to-date with changing regulations and industry developments.
  • Confidentiality & integrity in handling sensitive financial data, maintaining the trust of clients and stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy when entering data, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports, ensuring reliability and credibility.
