AP and T&E Analyst Job Details

A finance professional with expertise in accounts payable (AP) and travel & expense (T&E) analysis is sought to join a global business services team. This role will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices accurately and on time to ensure all bills and employee reimbursements are settled properly
  • Collaborate with receivers to confirm invoice accuracy and address any discrepancies swiftly
  • Prepare payment proposals for electronic transfers, checks, and wires in accordance with global policy
  • Investigate and resolve payment issues while working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed records of AP documents, including invoices, approvals, statements, etc.
  • Manage the AP mailbox, addressing inquiries, invoices, and other communications promptly and professionally
  • Respond to AP-related inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and share AP reports as requested by the supervisor or manager
  • Audit employee expense reports according to our global policy, utilizing the Concur expense system
  • Build strong relationships with employees and communicate closely with end users to ensure timely report submission
  • Assist employees in using the Concur expense system and best practices for expense reporting
  • Help perform periodic expense compliance audits to ensure the integrity of expense payments aligns with local and global policies
  • Collaborate with other AP and T&E Analysts to resolve payment errors and ensure expenses are paid on time
  • Prepare training materials and resources for employees regarding expense policies and procedures
  • Generate periodic reports from Concur to provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and facilitate process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 0 – 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, expense auditing, or financial management
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Fast learner of technology and open to coaching
