Overview
Project Kuiper is an initiative that aims to increase global broadband access by launching a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. This project will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to customers across various industries, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and organizations operating without reliable connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business models and distribution plans to launch consumer broadband products and services in the Philippines.
- Generate analysis and insights to define target customer segments and develop product positioning.
- Evaluate competitive landscape and benchmark service plans, pricing, features, and partnerships to guide product roadmap.
- Own service-launch readiness for the Philippines and lead efforts across product, sales, marketing, operations, business, legal, finance, and other partner teams.
- Deliver comprehensive strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across stakeholders.
- Prepare business cases for justification of new opportunities.
- Partner with legal, tax, and regulatory teams to engage in business partnerships and local regulatory efforts.
- Once operational, launch next-generation service offers and features; deliver a fantastic customer experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technology, media, or telecommunications; satellite internet; or subscription services.
- 7+ years of experience in sizing opportunities, building business plans, launching products and services.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience developing strategies influencing organizational-level leadership decisions.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- MBA or Bachelor degree in Business, Technology (or equivalent work experience).
