**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Operations Specialist to join our team at Wild Orchid Resort. As an Accounting Clerk Receivables, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including checking and recording postings in the system, monitoring credit card settlements, and ensuring accurate inventory counts.

In this role, you will work closely with other departments to ensure a positive guest experience and maintain good working relationships. You will also assist with other accounting tasks as needed, such as checking deliveries and performing asset tagging.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, and have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Check and record postings in the system regarding all sales of Front Desk and/or Bar & Restaurant reports.
  2. Monitor credit card settlements, cash sales, commissions from Rent a Car and SPA, and other forms related to receipts and income earned.
  3. Check and monitor for any shortages/overages incurred by Front Desk Clerks and Waitresses.
  4. Perform inventory count every end of the month or as needed, including fixed asset tagging.
  5. Ensure that all receivable documents are complete, arranged, and properly filed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Accounting, with knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Organized and systematic, with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience working as an Accounting Clerk for at least 3 years.
