Job Overview

We seek a seasoned virtual assistant with expertise in inventory management, product procurement, and forecasting using tools like Helium10.

This role is critical to ensuring our inventory levels are consistently optimized, aligned with demand, and in sync with sales targets.

The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to managing inventory, preventing stockouts or overstock, and tracking expiration dates for our supplement products.

Key responsibilities include product sourcing, inventory forecasting and management, expiration management, sales channel impact analysis, proactive reordering, inventory reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Product Sourcing: Effectively source and restock products to meet demand, ensuring supply matches our forecasting models
  • Inventory Forecasting & Management: Proactively monitor and manage inventory levels, utilizing SoStocked or similar platforms to stay on top of sales trends, seasonality, and marketing campaigns
  • Expiration Management: Track product expiration dates and collaborate with the marketing team to prioritize sales for items nearing expiration
  • Sales Channel Impact: Anticipate and manage the effects of new sales channels on inventory needs, adapting forecasting based on shifting demand
  • Proactive Reordering: Ensure timely reordering of inventory by tracking low stock levels and setting reorder points with suppliers to prevent stockouts and overstock
  • Inventory Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on inventory levels, potential stock issues, and forecasted needs
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, ads, and operations teams to align inventory levels with sales strategies and ensure smooth operations

Requirements include 2+ years of experience in inventory management and product sourcing, proficiency in inventory forecasting tools, and a solid understanding of sales trends and seasonality.
