Responsibilities
  • Application Review: You will be responsible for reviewing 30 to 50 applications per day, verifying financial and employment information, and ensuring that all applicants meet the necessary qualifications for renting residential properties.
  • Credit Score Check: You will review credit reports to assess applicants' financial stability and history, ensuring credit scores meet the company's minimum requirements.
  • Income Verification: You will confirm applicants' income through pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or employer verification to ensure they meet the minimum income requirement.
  • Debt-to-Income (DTI) Ratio: You will calculate and analyze applicants' debt-to-income ratio to determine whether their current financial obligations allow them to afford the rent.
  • Background & Criminal History Checks: You will perform criminal background checks to ensure tenants do not have a history of violent crimes or offenses that could pose a risk to the property or community.
  • Rental History Review: You will contact previous landlords to verify rental history, confirming applicants' timely rent payments, property maintenance, and lease compliance.
  • Eviction History: You will check for any past evictions that might indicate potential issues with tenancy.
